As events in the series unfold it becomes apparent that the characters from the red room the room itself and the black lodge along with the white lodge are connected. The peaks which sleeps 6 comfortably was purpose built as a surf getaway. The black lodge is a fictional setting featured in the television series twin peaks it is an extradimensional place which seems to include primarily the red room first seen by agent cooper in a dream early in the series. If it hadn t been called twin peaks or had lynch s name attached the series would have been instantly overlooked by far more entertaining new tv shows like watching paint dry in 60 minutes and the floor sweeping world championship.

However i am amazed at david lynch s skill to keep viewers interest. A modern surf oasis tucked away in the rainforest and only a few short steps from the expanse of chesterman beach. It has been a long wait but i re watched both of the last series 3 or so years back.
